Ignoring the bodykit and rear spoiler (a hard task but I'm trying ), I feel that the original lines of the car are lost with the top chop. With the hood up it looks a little awkward:

That abrupt rise from in the waistline from where the rear quarter windows would have been seems to dictate where the rear of the hood finishes. I think a more raked rear screen, resulting in a shorter engine cover would look better but that would affect access to the greasy bits.

A car that looks pretty good (standard GTA) winds up with something of the Triumph Spitfire about it. Maybe an MR-2 / Pontiac Firebird style t-bar roof would have been a step far enough.

The lines suit a roof chop, but not the canvas roof that follows :D

The best bit is the plastic door vent normally found on a GTA doorcard stuck inbetween one of the strakes down the side of the car...

...but if they weren't stuck there it would look as if the strakes did not actually lead anywhere.

Bloody Ferrari Testarossa, it has a lot to answer for.

I saw a Matra Bagheera on the net recently to which some caring individual had sensitively applied a 'strakeover''.

Kind of  ... but really a bit  (I like Bagheeras too).

Beauty is in the eye and all that - I have to say the steering wheel is a nice touch.

For something else weird look at this -

Do those look like A610 rear light clusters?? Anyway £25K for a car that looks like it's already been bent round a lamp post

Darren, it's the whackey steering wheel that really puts me off this one, reminds me of the VW Polo, the yellow bodywork is fine though.

Lee, and she's sitting on it in a denim skirt, I've dumped a girl in the past for sitting on my car, and at the time it was a humble Bertone X1/9. You might be surprised how much of a mess jeans studs can make to a cars bodywork, not mine thankfully.
