Drove 181 miles to Lee's , next morning won't start! And a word of advice - well worn 275's and sub-zero temperatures don't mix . On some sections of the motorway car started to slide at speeds as low as 50 mph in a straight line - it was very very scary.
Trigger whell all fitted up ready for tomorrow - hopefully Scoff will be able to get it going - otherwise Lee will have a lodger for a while .

I know how it feel on ice, I got stuck on the M25 when is snowed unexpectedly going to Goodwood. My tyres weren't great, but were way above legal, but it was scary- just moving off was hard, stopping without a lock up harder.
Of course the snowman you get on the bonnet due to the wipers adds to the fun too.

Home safe and sound but still a very nerveracking drive taking in the full spectrum of the british summer - blizzard like snow, sleet and driving rain. The 10 year old nearly bald bridgestones will be history next week! The car is soooooo much better its unbelieveable. Loads of things were massively out. It looks like some of the problems from before were due to the injectors maxing out as anything over standard boost resulted in unpleasant side affects which Scoff reckons were the injectors. But even at this boost it feels as quick as it ever felt at a bar and quicker in the higher gears. So its probably making similar power to before but just running more advance and lees boost. Will get a rising rate fuel regulator and hopefully that will do the trick.

So its big thanks to Lee and his family for putting up with me for a couple of nights and the same to Chris for getting it sorted.

Definitely. If we can get Scoff there to fettle the Adaptronic cars it might be a good chance for us all to get them just right ready for the summer. He reckons he can do a fairly accurate calculation of my horsepower output from the fuel it was using so I'm waiting to hear back. I've got some holiday to take in the next few weeks so I may run it down to Abbey motorsport near me and put it on their hub dyno.

Found a formula on the net from which you can work out your horsepower if you know your injector size, duty , air fuel ratio. At 12 psi that its currently running, if I've done the calculation correctly (and providing I have 3 bar in my fuel rail) equates to 266 bhp, (at 80% injector duty) At 90% duty they should make around 298bhp . They are definitely hitting a wall at about a bar so that should mean at least 300 bhp at a bar which would be similar to when I had it previously tuned. Scoff has set it up a little richer than before which is why it didn't run out of fuel at 300 bhp previously. What boost do A610's run standard? If there about the same then I've probably done the sums right.

I have mine at 12 psi on 212 cc injectors and fuel pressure is 3 bar .AFR should be the same as the same guys been tuning it innit .Ran out of time and it was getting cold so I didn't put the 330s in for Chris to fettle .
I'm getting the big turbo sorted for next week .

PS ...Oiiii !!! you've got my spare trigger sensor innit It's OK you can keep .I'll get another one,the spare is a bit narly having clipped the wheel Id swap them over and poss space it away a tad with a washer if I were you .

BSFC is your fuel air ratio basically and yours and mine should equate to 0.6 ish. No. of injectors 6 x duty cycle (10% =0.1) this is the bit thats a guess as apparently injectors usually max out somewhere between 90 and 100 % (the bigger you make this percentage the bigger your bhp figure will be) injector cc is in lbs per hour in the formula which has to be multiplied by 10.5 to get cc. So if your injectors are at 90% at 12 psi it should work like this BHP x 0.6/6x0.9=20.19 equates to 181.7 bhp. But we know your makes in the 220's so I reckon maybe the BSFC is a little less maybe 0.55 and maybe the duty a little more say 95% (have you got uprated fuel pressure?) that would equate to about 210 bhp. Scoff may know exactly what your bsfc is - they recommend 0.55 - 0.6 for a turbo car.
